I waited too long and now I’ve missed my chance, or at least a chance that I could afford.  I’ve searched every outlet that I can think of that sells MLB tickets and I can’t find seats anywhere for less than a few hundred dollars each.  I’m a member of the team’s mailing list and they sent me an e-mail to order playoff tickets in advance nearly a month ago.  There were still plenty of games left in the regular season and still a good chance that they wouldn’t even make it into the playoffs, which wouldn’t have been all that unusual because they have been on the outside looking in at the playoffs for almost the entire last decade.  I thought that I’d just wait a little longer to see if they were actually going to make it into the post season before I went to the trouble of ordering tickets.  Well they surprised me and made it into post season play for the first time since I was in junior high and I’ll be watching it on TV because I didn’t have faith enough to buy the tickets ahead of time and now the only tickets out there are going for an arm and a leg.
